Before writing this blog, I have decided to book BSNL prepaid mobile complaint online through its official website. Just after booking complaint I have got an SMS, and within one hour of time, I have got a call from BSNL call center regarding the same. Now you can imagine that how fast it responds to customers. Here we will see how to book the same online.

To book a new grievance regarding service or billing you need to visit the BSNL customer care page. The page screenshot is shown here.

How to file BSNL Broadband Landline complaint online


In this page just go to complaint booking section & click on the Landline/Broadband, a pop window will appear, in which you need to select your state or telecom circle. After this, a new web page of the self-care portal will open. To access this portal, you should have username & password. In case you don’t have an account yet then here is the step by step procedure to create an account on the self-care portal.

After login into the portal click on “+” sign before complaint tab. You can see the link to create service complaint like shown in the following image.

Now select the reason in the dropdown and submit it. You will get a registration ID which may be used as a reference or to track the docket status. In a similar way using the same portal you can also file billing related grievance.

For mobile prepaid & postpaid users also need to visit on same customer care link.  Then click on GSM/CDMA as shown in the first image of the article. A pop window will appear on the page, now select your telecom circle then a new web page will open like shown below.

Here fill your circle or state & mobile number & submit it. A new form will open like shown below.

You should fill all the details and type your query in remark section. Now submit it, after successful submission you get a message like “New Request has been generated. Docket Number – 1E17XXXXXXX please use same docket number for the reference”.

    Thanks for sharing this info. I wasn’t aware of it. In future I will definitely file my bsnl broadband complaints online from now onwards.

    BSNL services are very LACHAR & worst services. Grievances portals and are not working at all.
    I am unable to edit my online account details at . There is limited provision for complaint at selfcare. Once complaint has been booked, it shows pending for a long time – for many months & we can not book another complaint. Almost 50% of time telephone & internate remains dead.

      You can file grievance through PG Portal. Grievance filed in this portal are sent to BSNL Corporate Office. As per my experience they are likely to get resolved within one week.
