BSNL mobile postpaid plans review- Plan-225, 325, 525, 725,1125 & 1525


BSNL offers eight postpaid plans under mobile GSM services.  If your expenses of calls are around Rs 225/-or more per month than BSNL mobile postpaid plans are the better option as compared to prepaid ones. I am covering only five tariffs here as other 2 have nothing important to share.

 Plan-225

It costs you Rs 225/- per month. Every month you get free call usage worth of Rs 180/-. Free call usage value is the per month balance you get for making calls, SMSs, etc.

Local Call rate will be 1.1Paisa/sec on net & 1.3 Paisa/Sec off-net. It means 66 Paisa/minute for on-net & 78 Paisa per minute off-net for local calls.

STD call rate will be 1.3Paisa/Sec for both on-net & off-net. Effectively it cost you 78 Paisa/60 seconds.

You also get 200MB free 3G/2G data per month.

Bsnl postpaid plans for mobile users

Plan-325

For this tariff, you have to Rs 325/- per month, and you will get free call usage worth of Rs 270/-.

Here pulse rate is 60 seconds. Local Call rate will be 30 Paisa/60sec on net & 50 Paisa/60Sec off-net. It means call charges will be 30 Paisa per minute for on-net & 50 Paisa per minute for off-net calls.

 STD call rate will be 50 Paisa/60Sec for both on-net & off-net. Effectively it cost you  50 Paisa/minute.

You also get 250MB free 3G/2G data per month.

Plan-525

This tariff is right for someone whose per month expenditure is around Rs 525/-. You need to pay Rs 525/- per month, and you will get free call usage worth of Rs 450/-.

Here also the pulse rate is 60 seconds. Local on-net & off net call rates are 30 Paisa/60sec. It means call charges will be 30 Paisa per minute for on-net & off-net calls.

 STD call rates are 40 Paisa/60Sec for both on-net & off-net. Effectively it costs you Rs 40Paisa/minute.

You also get 500MB free 3G/2G data per month.

Plan-725

It is the higher end tariff having attractive benefits.  You need to pay Rs 725/- per month, and you will not get any free call usage worth like tariff as mentioned above. It means you don’t get any balance for off net local & STD calls.

But you get unlimited free local calls on BSNL network and free 1200 minutes STD calls on BSNL network. STD on-net call rate is 40 Paisa/ minute. Night calling (11 PM to 7 AM) is free on the home network.

Off-net local call rates are 40 Paisa/minute and off net STD calls 50 Paisa/Minute.

You also get 500 free local/National SMS.

You also get 1GB free 3G/2G data per month.

Plan-1125

On the occasion of BSNL day i.e. 01 October 2016, Company has launched 1125 mobile postpaid tariff. The subscriber has to pay Rs 1125/- on a monthly basis. He/She will get free unlimited local/STD On-net & Off-net calls. They also get free unlimited roaming facility across the India. Total 250 Local/National SMS & 1GB 3G/2G data also included in this tariff.

Plan-1525

It is the highest rate tariff in the postpaid mobile category.  You need to pay Rs 1525/- per month, and you will get unlimited free calls to any network within India. It is the revised plan; earlier call charges were there for off-net local & STD calls, but now they are totally free.

In this tariff, you get unlimited free local calls & STD calls on BSNL network. Apart from these freebies customer also get unlimited free roaming  Local/STD On-net & Off-net calls.

You also get 250 free local/National SMS.

You also get 5GB free 3G/2G data per month.

Other Charges

For new postpaid mobile connection, you have to pay one time total Rs 600/- which includes activation fees (Rs 100/-) plus security deposit (Rs 500/-) for Local & STD activation. These Rs 600/- you have to pay at the time of activation of SIM card for all above mentioned tariffs.

Conclusion

That’s all about BSNL mobile postpaid plans. As per my opinion Rs, 525/-, 1125 & 1525 per month are the best among all.
